The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade began in 1992 with just one aim - to make a difference.

And 14 years on, a global effort from Avon staff and customers has made an incredible difference.

In the UK alone over £12 million has been raised for UK breast cancer charities. And globally fundraising totals a staggering $450 million.

These achievements have helped to fund ground-breaking equipment, Macmillan nurses, The Breakthrough Toby Robins Breast Cancer Research Centre and the 85 scientists now working in the research centre. In addition, our fundraising has enabled Breakthrough Breast Cancer to recruit three Clinical Fellows over a five year period to undertake valuable research there. The third is being recruited this year.

Campaigns like Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer and sponsorship of Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, plus The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade Awards have all contributed to a successful and creative Crusade that has won many awards including the Business in the Community Cause Related Marketing Award for Excellence.

But most importantly, a Crusade that is helping to win the fight against breast cancer.
